When you make a reservation with a property and select any Travel Protection option, a Travel Protection fee is added to your total booking cost. Depending on the Travel Protection options selected at the time of booking, the Travel Protection fee extends the Terms and Conditions of the individual booking to provide up to a 100% reimbursement minus the Travel Protection fee if an unforeseen illness or health condition, adverse weather condition involving rain or snow, or other travel delay occurs 24 hours, 2 days, or up to 14 days prior to the arrival date, which prevents you from attending or completing your booking. The Travel Protection terms and conditions varies depending on the options selected at the time of booking and may not include all the options mentioned above. The full cost of the reservation is collected 14 days before the arrival date of the booking. By paying the property a Travel Protection fee, you are extending the property's reimbursement terms and conditions to include circumstances not normally eligible for a refund.
In most instances the time period protected is 14 days or fewer before your arrival date and includes up to your departure date. For certain travel delays and adverse weather circumstances the time period protected is 24 hours before your arrival date through to your departure date. In addition, you have up to 30 days after your departure date to apply for your refund.
